Brewers, Bush reach contract

The Brewers and Dave Bush have reached a one-year contract to avoid arbitration according Adam McCalvy of MLB.com.  The deal is reportedly worth $2.55 million.  Bush was seeking $3 million through arbitration, while the team countered with $2.25 million, meaning they settled just below the midpoint.

The signing leaves shortstop J.J. Hardy as Milwaukee’s only arbitration eligible player left unsigned.
