Jennings returns to mound in Rangers camp

Jason Jennings, who underwent surgery to repair a torn flexor tendon in the elbow of his throwing arm in September, returned to the mound for about 10 minutes and experienced no problems.

“There was no pain, but I didn’t expect any,” Jennings said. “It’s just good to get out there and throw to one of your own catchers with the uniform on and the spikes on.”

Jennings will likely start the year behind Kevin Millwood and Vincente Padilla as the Rangers third starter.
