Roberts shines with Cubs scouts on hand

If Brian Roberts is hoping to push for a trade to the Chicago Cubs, he probably did it yesterday. With two Chicago Cubs scouts on hand, Roberts exemplified why the Cubs are targeting him as their potential leadoff man.
Roberts finished the game going 1-for-2 with a walk, with an RBI double mixed in. He also scored a run scored and stole two bases as the Orioles defeated the Marlins 16-3.
“That’s how Brian Roberts plays the game,” Orioles manager Dave Trembley said. “That’s what he’s going to have to do to make our offense go.”
