Curtis Granderson had an X-Ray done on his broken hand today, which revealed sufficient healing and he was cleared to resume baseball activities. Granderson is now free to start swinging a bat, which will be the biggest test for the broken bone.

As expected, the Boston Red Sox activated Josh Beckett from the 15-day disabled list to make the start for the team today against the Blue Jays.
To clear a spot on the roster, the Red Sox designated Kyle Snyder for assignment.

According to the Los Angeles Times, John Lackey played catch yesterday and could begin throwing off the mound next week.
