Borowski could undergo tests on arm
After blowing his second consecutive save, the Indians closer, Joe Borowski, may undergo tests today to see if there is something wrong with his arm.
Following his blown save on Monday night, Borowski met with the Indians manager, general manager and the team’s medical staff to discuss the condition of his right arm and shoulder.
It seems that Borowski is hoping there is something wrong with his arm to explain to him why he sometimes goes to the mound without any arm strength.
“I hope we can pinpoint something,” said Borowski. “Right now, it’s driving me crazy. I’m grasping at straws. Maybe it’s something. Maybe it’s nothing.”
If Borowski were to miss any time as the team’s closer, Rafael Betancourt would probably get the first chance to close games.
