Brewers activate Gallardo
Yovani Gallardo will come off the disabled list to make the start for the Brewers today against Cincinnati. Instead of sending a pitcher down, the Brewers opted to send Joe Dillon to Triple-A to make room for Gallardo.
They will eventually bring Dillon back up, but wanted to keep all of their starters with the major league team for now until Ben Sheets is definitely going to make his next start.
Dave Bush was supposed to start today, but he will instead go in place of Ben Sheets if he needs to be pushed back a day.
When Sheets is declared healthy, one of the current Brewers starters will be out of a starting job. Carlos Villanueva or Manny Parra are the likely candidates to be sent to Triple-A.
