Chuck James, last year’s number three starter for the Braves, appeared in his first spring training game today after being held back due to a partial tear of his rotator cuff.

David O’Brien of the Atlanta Journal Constitution is reporting that Chuck James, recovering from a partially torn rotator cuff, will not make his Grapefruit League debut “around” March 15. Most starters normally pitch two innings in their debut and progressively build upon that.
