Matt Clement is scheduled to throw his last long toss today before getting back on the mound this week as he restarts his work to pitch in games for the Cardinals.
Clement had his schedule changed earlier in Spring Training to include a long-toss program in order to improve his arm strength.

After watching Matt Clement’s first bullpen session of Spring Training, pitching coach Dave Duncan has doubts about the newly signed right hander.
“In all honesty, I will be surprised if he’s ready for opening day,” Duncan said.
