Matt Garza, who has been out with radial nerve irritation, will make a minor league rehab start this Sunday. Garza is expected to pitch four innings, or 60 pitches, in his rehab.
If all goes well in his rehab, Garza may join the Rays rotation next Friday when they face the Red Sox.

The Rays initially thought Garza may just miss two weeks with his radial nerve irritation, however, it has now been learned that the right hander will be out four weeks with the injury.

Following their game last night, the Tampa Bay Rays placed Matt Garza on the 15-day disabled list with “radial nerve irritation.” To take his place on the roster, they recalled Jae Kuk Ryu from Triple-A.
