The Phillies placed centerfield Shane Victorino on the disabled list with a strain of the right calf muscle after Saturday night’s win against the Cubs. Victorino hurt the calf muscle when racing home from third on a wild pitch in the third inning.

Jimmy Rollins left the game early this afternoon after spraining his ankle in the top of the eighth inning. Rollins had to retreat to second for a number of bluffed pickoff attempts in the inning. Eric Bruntlett replaced him in the field in the bottom of the eighth inning.
