The Oakland A’s have recalled reliever Joey Devine from the minors today and Susan Slusser speculates that Rich Harden is going to the disabled list to make room for him.
She notes that having Devine in the bullpen would allow Lenny DiNardo to take on a rotation spot, should Harden be destined for the disabled list.
